Passline, Come Bet & 6, 8, 9

Name:: George “I always place a bet on the passline, wait for the point to be set, place a bet behind the passline if it is 6, 8 or 9, then I will place a come bet. The come bet moves to whichever number is rolled unless it is the point, in which case I win anyway as I am on the passline. A small bonus … the come bet wins if a 7 is rolled during a point (which ends the round), so it is a small but often appreciated security against losing all other table bets.
My style is slower moving, and I count on each round being long so I build up more money at each roll of the dice. The longer the round, the more chance my style is winning me LOTS of money by covering all numbers. Eventually if you have every number covered using the come system, you can press and/or place odds on each number depending on how much you win on each roll.
The occasions where I win big is on long rounds, where the box numbers come up continually, winning me a little more than even money (odds vary for each number depending on probibility) *each* time they are rolled. This really adds up, and it is not uncommon for me to have accumulated 4 or 5 times the wins of chips I have on the full board (I play $5 bets, with full board covered total bet is $45 – 60)”

Good Points to this style: If you have every number covered and the points are not interupted by unlucky 7′s, you will continue to win. The ‘build up’ effect is incredibly rewarding.
The downside to this style: The chance of a 7 coming up JUST as you get all numbers covered and a lot of dollars on the board is significant, but the trick is to win enough on each roll of other numbers that you can afford to lose the table bets when a 7 is rolled during a point. |
